25 but his disciples took him one night and let him down through the city wall by lowering him in a basket.

26 When Saul[a] arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they all were afraid of him because they wouldn’t believe he was a disciple. 27 Barnabas, however, introduced Saul[b] to the apostles, telling them how on the road Saul[c] had seen the Lord, who had spoken to him, and how courageously he had spoken in the name of Jesus in Damascus.
